These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of website design and related services by Edvance Technologies Ltd, trading as Edvance Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to you (“the Client”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
We provide bespoke website design, development and search visibility services. Our standard offerings are: Visibility Check (a one-off written review of the Client’s existing website and search presence), Website (a one-off design and build), and Website + Get Found (the same build plus ongoing monthly search and local visibility work). The specific deliverables for each project are detailed in the written quote provided to the Client prior to commencement. Larger or custom projects are quoted individually.
All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of the deliverables specified in the package. The Website package is £997 one-off and includes three months of care from the date of launch; after that period, continued care is £79 per month and is entirely optional. Website + Get Found is £1,497 one-off plus £149 per month. The Visibility Check is £249 one-off; if the Client proceeds to book either package within 60 days of the report being delivered, the full £249 is credited against the package price. Quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for future projects.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit of 50% of the one-off fee is payable before work begins, with the balance payable on launch. Monthly fees, where applicable, begin on the launch date and are collected monthly in advance. We accept bank transfer and card payment as communicated during the quotation process. Work will not commence until the deposit has been received and confirmed.
We deliver a first full design within 3 working days, and take the site live within 5 working days, measured from the date the deposit is confirmed and the completed questionnaire and all required materials have been received from the Client. Delays caused by late provision of content, images, access credentials, or feedback from the Client extend these timelines accordingly. We will communicate any delays promptly.
The Client agrees to provide timely feedback, supply any requested materials (logos, images, brand guidelines, domain access), and respond to communications within a reasonable timeframe. The Client is responsible for the accuracy of any information they provide to us. Failure to provide necessary materials or feedback in a timely manner may delay the project.
Both the Website and Website + Get Found packages include reasonable amendments to the agreed scope before launch. We will continue revising the design until the Client is satisfied with it, provided the requests remain within the agreed scope. Requests that materially change the scope — additional pages, new functionality, or a fresh design direction after the design has been approved — may incur additional charges, which will be communicated and agreed in writing before any further work proceeds.
Upon receipt of full payment, the Client owns all rights to the completed website, including the design, code, and written content. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio and include a small “Built by Edvance Studio” credit in the footer unless the Client requests its removal. All domain names, hosting accounts, and login credentials belong to and are controlled by the Client.
The Website package includes three months of care from launch at no extra cost. After that, care continues at £79 per month only if the Client chooses to continue; there is no obligation and no automatic charge without the Client’s agreement. The monthly element of Website + Get Found requires a 2-month minimum commitment from launch, after which the Client may cancel at any time with 30 days’ written notice. Monthly plans cover hosting management, security patches, software updates, small content changes, and (where applicable) search and local visibility work and reporting. Clients who cancel are provided with complete handover documentation and retain full ownership of the site.
If the Client wishes to cancel before work has commenced, a full refund will be issued. We also offer a design guarantee: if the Client is not satisfied with the first full design delivered within 3 working days, we will revise it until they are, or refund the deposit in full at the Client’s request, with no further obligation on either side. Once the design has been approved and the site has been built, a partial refund may be offered at our discretion, minus the value of work completed. Once the website has been delivered and approved by the Client, no refunds will be issued. The Visibility Check fee is non-refundable once the report has been delivered, but is creditable as set out in clause 3.
The Website package includes three months of post-launch support. Website + Get Found includes support for as long as the monthly plan is active. Support covers bug fixes, minor adjustments, and guidance on using your website. Support does not include new feature development, additional pages, or redesign work beyond the original scope.
To the fullest extent permitted by English law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific project. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, profit, or business opportunity.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
